La silla Panarea | Commonplace Drawings

About La silla Panarea

La silla Panarea is part of the Commonplace Drawings, a series created over the summer exploring shape, objects, interiors and the relationship we have with our surroundings.

The series brings together a collection of moments, real and imagined objects, interior scenes and small observations. I often make these drawings as a way to experiment, develop studies for larger paintings, or simply capture a particular moment.

Each drawing is original and one of a kind, hand-drawn using Japanese ink and brush pen on heavyweight cotton watercolour paper. The artwork is mounted on board and framed in a high-quality matching navy blue wooden frame.
